Se presentan diversas aplicaciones de la Estructura Agroecológica Principal de los Agroecosistemas Mayores (EAP) en Colombia, en cuatro proyectos que han estudiado la conservación de agrobiodiversidad en sistemas hortícolas, la resiliencia de agroecosistemas cafeteros, la evolución del paisaje en fincas pertenecientes a Ecoaldeas y las relaciones entre la EAP y la sanidad vegetal en cultivos de cítricos. Los resultados muestran que el concepto es valioso tanto para describir los agroecosistemas como para relacionarlo con otras funciones y emergencias.; We present various applications of the Main Agroecological Structure of the Major Agroecosystems (MAS) in Colombia, through four projects that have studied the conservation of agrobiodiversity in horticultural systems, resilience of coffee agroecosystems, landscape evolution in farms belonging to Ecovillages and relationships between the MAS and plant health in citrus crops. The results show that the concept is valuable not only to describe agroecosystems but also to relate it to other functions and emergencies.
